An impromptu weekend getaway came at the perfect time, when there was need to disconnect from the norm, relax and breathe free. When too much time has passed since going to a beach, I go through major withdrawals. People laugh when I say that, but being born and raised on an island will do that to you. It is the one place where my mind is completely at peace and it reminds of me home while I’m away.

Perfect beach weather, great company and good times. I must admit nothing compares to the clear blue waters and powder white sands that I am used to. But I met some cool people, enjoyed a boat ride at sunset, played with a big ass jellyfish while swimming and even spotted a baby octopus that got washed ashore. Too bad I was so happy to be in the ocean again I forgot my camera, but the memories will last a lifetime. Thank you Savannah for being so good to me!

You never know the effect your smile, word or presence has on another. Sometimes life changing experiences occur from you just being YOU. I have bad days just like the next person, but my energy remains positive because I rather be happy than to dwell amidst the negative. I’m always humbled by the love received from so many in regards to such as well as my heART. So today I thank you, you and yes, YOU for such beautiful inspiration, love and support!
